About the event
Aim:
To support YMCA Lakeside; allowing veterans the opportunity to come to The Lake District, reflect, reframe, and reset whilst working as a team to preserve the YMCA site.
Overview:
To take part in various tasks and projects set by VCWP, ensuring the site is well kept and maintained. Running alongside this, working in groups to achieve a set goal and supporting the YMCA maintenance staff with tasks / projects that will help preserve the estate for 1000s of children that attend as part of their outdoor learning experience.
Tasks:
Projects will vary and a range of tasks will be available to suit individual capabilities.
